The bakery is filled with pretty pink interior, fun gifts and apparel, space for dining inside or outside, and a display case full of tasty baked goods. Customers can purchase baked goods in-store or online. He has worked for area orchards and “every bottle of Hidden Cave Cider is packed with Wisconsin apples. We love to use local honey from Mount Horeb, as well.”

The cidery opened summer 2021 and currently is open 5-9 p.m. Thursday-Friday, and 1-9 p.m. Saturday. Patrons can enjoy the outdoor patio and one of four picnic tables (built by hand by Fanning and his tasting room manager) and enjoy some of Hidden Cave’s creations on the back patio. Reservations are not required but they do ensure you a table. The indoor tasting room is also open throughout the winter. Check their website for weekend tasting events like special pairings. Reservations can be made online and dogs — on leashes — are welcome!
