In Middleton, we tend to make our own fun, and that is a year-round activity. Some of the city’s most notable include the outdoor winter festival Bockfest, held every February at Capital Brewery (live music, food trucks, flying fish – who wouldn’t love this?). Summer kicks off with Art Walk Middleton, the Greenway Station Farmers Market, and outdoor music downtown at Stone Horse Green and Capital Brewery. There are annual events throughout summer, capped by National Mustard Day (first Saturday of every August).

Rather than hibernate in the winter, the "Good Neighbor City" just comes up with another excuse to celebrate. With the expansion of the CXC Outdoor Center (cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and biking), and Stone Horse Green (downtown park with stage venue), activities and festivals and programming with continue through.
